In the future, a new logo will more clearly express their affiliation with the international Congregation of the Sisters of the Cross. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cross logo was designed in 2000 by Gielia Degonda, a Swiss Sister of the Cross and artist. In the center, it reveals the shape of the Sisters\u2019 cross and is open in all four directions. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cMany of the 16 provinces and vicariates of the Sisters of the Cross are already using this logo of the worldwide community. Against this backdrop, the sisters and leaders at the Hegne convent have also decided to adopt it,\u201d said Sister Susanne Bader, Provincial Superior at the Hegne convent. \u201cThis is also in line with the General Administration\u2019s desire in Ingenbohl to strengthen our shared identity. It is a powerful symbol of our connection to all 2,600 sisters worldwide, as well as to their staff and institutions.\u201d <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe new logo for the Kloster Hegne brand will give it a fresh look and also enhance its global presence. It will reaffirm the Sisters of the Cross\u2019s roots,\u201d adds Prof. Dr. Florian Kluger, managing director and chairman of the foundation at Kloster Hegne. According to Kluger, the introduction of the new logo for the sisterhood, its businesses, and facilities, as well as the redesign of the websites, are part of a longer-term process that is being implemented step by step.
