{"id":3815,"date":"2024-07-21T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-20T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotel.kloster-dev.de\/two-paths-lead-from-the-hegne-train-station-to-the-monastery-grounds\/"},"modified":"2026-08-11T15:53:35","modified_gmt":"2026-08-11T13:53:35","slug":"two-paths-lead-from-the-hegne-train-station-to-the-monastery-grounds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.st-elisabeth-hegne.de\/en\/two-paths-lead-from-the-hegne-train-station-to-the-monastery-grounds\/","title":{"rendered":"Two paths lead from the Hegne train station to the monastery grounds"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two routes leading from the train station to Hegne Abbey and Hotel St.&nbsp;Elisabeth, the Theodosius Academy, the church and crypt, the Maria Hilf nursing home, and the Marianum\u2014or wherever else you\u2019d like to go.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"gb-headline gb-headline-191c2e9e gb-headline-text\">Effective immediately, there are two new routes <strong>from the train station in Hegne to Hegne Abbey<\/strong>:&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>North of the pedestrian underpass, a newly paved and marked walking and biking path leads eastward conveniently to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.marianum-hegne.de\/marianum-zentrum-fuer-bildung-und-erziehung.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Marianum<\/a><\/strong> and the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maria-hilf-hegne.de\/altenpflegeheim.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Maria Hilf Nursing Home<\/a><\/strong>. This path is also a good way to reach the <strong>crypt<\/strong> and the <strong>church<\/strong>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Another walking and biking trail heading west leads to the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.st-elisabeth-hegne.de\/hotel-st-elisabeth.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hotel<\/a> <\/strong>and to the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theodosius-akademie.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Theodosius Academy<\/a><\/strong>, the <strong>administration<\/strong> office, the<strong> cemetery, and <\/strong>the <strong>monastery gate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Due to the installation of a high-pressure gas line and other utility lines, the corrugated metal underpass at the monastery parking lot is no longer available and will be demolished in the coming days.
