As part of our diverse portfolio of employee benefits\u2014which includes workplace health management (BGM) and values-based teamwork\u2014a special cooking evening took place last week. In addition to Sr. Susanne (who has a passion for cooking), Elda and Ashitha\u2014who are currently completing their voluntary social year (FSJ) at our Maria Hilf nursing home for the elderly\u2014were also there, bringing an authentic Indian flair with them thanks to their nationalities. Everyone had the chance to learn more about Indian food and cooking culture from the two of them. <\/p>\n\n
The meal consisted of biryani as the main course, a salad, and boondi ladoo for dessert. Asian spices\u2014which aren’t commonly used in German cuisine\u2014were used generously. <\/p>\n\n
Here’s what we can reveal: it was absolutely delicious, all the dishes turned out great, and in the friendly atmosphere, a few of us even dared to eat traditional Indian food with our fingers.<\/p>\n\n
