Hotel Chapel on Lake Constance – A Place of Peace and Reflection

A special place for fellowship, prayer, and moments of quiet reflection

In our noisy, hectic, and fast-paced world, the special retreats at Hotel St. Elisabeth invite you to linger, to be silent, or to pray. A very special place in the hotel is our modern chapel. Renowned architects and glass artists have designed it to be a bright, impressive oasis of reflection, contemplation, and a connection with God.

Perhaps you’d like to incorporate this special place into your celebration. It can help you and your guests step away from everyday life for the duration of this extraordinary day and find serenity and inner peace. Anniversaries, wedding anniversaries, family celebrations, and many other important events take on an unusually profound significance and remain in your memory for a long time. The chapel can be used for any type of event. It can also serve as a welcoming place of worship for your clergy visiting from elsewhere.

An altar that isn’t centered, the modern use of materials, and an unusual cross—it’s only natural that this chapel raises questions. Some of these questions are answered in the article published in the Sonntagsblatt. Feel free to come by and see for yourself—you’re always welcome.

You can find all prayer times on our “Events > Worship Services & Meditation Sessions” page.

Special Prayer Times in the Chapel

WorTraum Evening Service | God’s Word – Silence – Prayer – Hymns

It takes both inner and outer spaces to reimagine words. It takes the experience of realizing that the word—newly heard and spoken—opens up a path.

WORTRAUM is a meditative evening service that invites you to listen to the Word of God, to linger in silence, and to dream and discover. Join us for the service—in the chapel of the Hotel St. Elisabeth, always on the fourth Monday of the month (subject to change), at 7 p.m.!

“Our Best—Prayer”—Together—For One Another—For Others

Through music, prayer, spiritual reflections, and moments of silence, we connect with the divine life force within us.
We bring before God—either in silence or aloud, as needed—all the concerns that touch our hearts and those of the people who turn to Sister Ulrika.
